Built a practice on the belief that healing is possible for everyone — and that the right therapist makes all the difference.
"I built this practice around one unwavering belief: that trauma is often the thread beneath our deepest struggles — and that with the right support, people can heal, reconnect, and reclaim their lives."
Why I built
Mental Prosperity
My journey into trauma work began early in my career, sitting across from adolescents and adults who were struggling in ways that didn't always have obvious explanations. What I kept finding, again and again, was that trauma was the common thread. Not always visible. Not always named. But almost always present.
That discovery changed the direction of my work entirely. I stopped asking "what is wrong with this person?" and started asking "what happened to this person?" That shift — rooted in curiosity rather than judgment — became the foundation of everything I built.
I opened Mental Prosperity Counseling because I saw a real gap: people in the Inland Empire and across California needed access to therapists who understood trauma not just as a diagnosis, but as a lived experience shaped by history, culture, family, and community. Therapists who could hold space for the complexity of someone's story without minimizing it.
As the practice grew, so did my vision. Today, Mental Prosperity is a group practice — and every clinician I bring onto this team is chosen with intention. I look for the same things I've always valued: clinical rigor, genuine compassion, cultural humility, and a deep understanding of how the past lives in the present.
The philosophy behind
every session
Trauma is the Root
We approach every client with the understanding that unresolved trauma often drives anxiety, depression, relational difficulty, and more. We treat the root, not just the symptoms.
Culture is Context
Your cultural background, immigration history, intergenerational experiences, and community identity are not side notes — they are central to who you are and how we care for you.
The Past Lives in the Present
Historical and generational experiences of oppression, displacement, and trauma don't stay in the past. We work with clients to understand and process these layers with honesty and care.
Healing is Personal
No two healing journeys look alike. We tailor every treatment approach — modality, pacing, goals — to the individual in front of us, not a protocol on paper.
The Right Fit Matters
Therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of outcomes. We take the match between client and clinician seriously — it's not transactional, it's relational.
Access is Non-Negotiable
Quality mental health care should not be a luxury. We accept major insurance plans, offer telehealth statewide, and provide bilingual services to remove as many barriers as possible.
