Getting Started
The easiest way is to book a free 20-minute phone consultation through our website. From there, we will match you with a clinician who fits your needs, verify your insurance, and schedule your first session. You can also call us at (909) 835-9366 or email info@mental-prosperity.com.
We offer both. In-person sessions are available at our Corona, CA office (4740 Green River Rd, Suite 206A). Telehealth sessions are available to anyone located in California. Many clients find telehealth just as effective and appreciate the flexibility it offers.
Individual sessions are 50 minutes. Couples and family sessions are 60 minutes. Most clients find therapy most effective when meeting 2 to 4 times per month. Your clinician will help you determine the right frequency based on your goals and needs.
Yes. We work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Our child therapists use developmentally appropriate, engaging approaches to help kids express themselves and build emotional skills. Contact us to discuss your child's specific needs and we will find the right fit.
Most of our clients report a meaningful decrease in symptoms and an improved outlook within the first several sessions. That said, progress depends on many factors including consistency, openness, and the goals you set together with your therapist. We welcome your feedback throughout the process so we can adjust our approach and support you as effectively as possible.

Yes. If you have out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. We recommend calling your insurance provider in advance to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
About Therapy
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is an evidence-based therapy originally developed to treat trauma and PTSD, and is now widely used for anxiety, grief, phobias, and more. It works by helping the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer feel overwhelming. Yes, we offer EMDR as part of our trauma-informed care approach.
No. Our clinicians are therapists, not psychiatrists or medical doctors, so we are not able to prescribe medication. However, if medication may be appropriate for you, we are happy to provide a referral to a psychiatrist or your primary care provider and coordinate care as needed.
Not everyone, but research is clear that individuals who experienced childhood trauma are significantly more likely to face long-term psychological and physical health challenges. Therapy can be a powerful tool for processing those experiences — but ultimately it works best when someone feels ready and motivated to engage. We believe anyone can benefit from therapy when they are ready to make meaningful changes in their life.
Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. What you share with your therapist stays between you and your clinician. There are limited legal exceptions — such as situations involving imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, or mandated reporting requirements for child abuse — which your therapist will explain during your first session.
About Our Clinicians
All three are master's-level licenses regulated by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS):
  • LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) — focuses on individual mental health, behavioral patterns, and emotional well-being.
  • LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) — specializes in relational and interpersonal dynamics for couples, families, and individuals.
  • LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) — combines clinical therapy with an understanding of social systems, community resources, and life context.
The "A" stands for Associate. Associates hold a master's degree and are actively working toward full licensure under the supervision of a licensed clinician. They provide the same quality of care and are often a more affordable option for clients paying out of pocket.
Yes. Several members of our team are fluent Spanish speakers and provide therapy fully in Spanish. We are committed to offering culturally responsive, bilingual care to our community. Contact us and we will match you with a Spanish-speaking clinician.
